Champion of Tribes

You know I’ve got a PhD in cybernetic technology - and I have got a plan to win the day
in school they said it can't be done, but I know I'm the only one - who has the acumen to pave the way
If we could just improve mankind, enhance our bodies and our minds - we’d have all that we need to slay the beast
And we could win this endless war by settling an ancient score - Humanity could finally live in peace

For what it's worth - I will succeed - as long as I get the body I need
For what it's worth - I will not bend - you'll hear them thank me in the end
For what it's worth - we can surpass - the limitations of our past
For what it's worth - wrong as it seems - The end will justify the means

But when I asked for volunteers, my pleas they fell upon deaf ears - Is no one brave enough to take this on?

The captain won't provide a man to draft into my master plan - don't need a knight or rook, only a pawn
But under dire circumstance - a life to save, a second chance - there'd be no way that they could tell me no.
if there was just some accident - they'd sponsor my experiment - it's gotta be the only way to go.
